SHER – Monitoring visits for the Social Dimension Small Grants Scheme
Under the SHER Programme, monitoring visits for the Social Dimension Small Grants Scheme were conducted from 24–26 March. The visits were carried out by consortium representatives Louise Sperl and Bernadette Holzer (WUS Austria), together with Shqiponjë Kodraliu and Fatima Kryeziu from the SHER project office.
During the visits, five small grant projects were assessed through meetings with beneficiaries, focusing on implementation progress, achievements, and challenges. The projects demonstrated strong structure and clear alignment with Social Dimension principles, particularly in promoting accessibility, equality, and inclusivity.
Grantees were also informed about the upcoming dissemination workshop planned for autumn, which will serve as a platform to share results and lessons learned. Monitoring activities will continue in the coming weeks as part of SHER’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the social dimension in higher education.
The programme SHER - Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosovo aims to contribute to a sustainable, evidence-based, needs-oriented and gender-responsive Higher Education and Research sector in Kosovo that is in line with the principles of EHEA, ERA, and SDG 4 and 9 and is implemented by WUS Austria (project lead) together with ZSI and OeAD and is funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation and co-financed by the Kosovo Ministry of Education and Science (MES).
