Seminar EU Experience in University Self-Assessment at University of Girona

Sarajevo-Girona. From December 12-14, 2007, 16 representatives of B&H universities attended a three-day seminar at the University of Girona, Spain, on the topic of EU Experience in University Self-Assessment.

The seminar was organised within the new TEMPUS project From Quality Assurance to Strategy Development (financed by the European Commission), where participation was originally intended for QA coordinators only. Based on feedback by consortium members, it was agreed that such a seminar would also be very valuable for representatives of university management. Thanks to the approval of the Austrian Development Cooperation for budgetary reallocation, participation was offered to additional university representatives from B&H within the project Structural Development of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation and Liechtenstein Government).

According to the participant feedback the seminar was a success.
