INCLUSION site visit to Tuzla/BiH, April 24-27, 2017

During the site visit, meetings took place with staff and students of Tuzla university (including from underrepresented groups such as PWDs), as well as with the Center for the Support to Students with Special Needs. Fact-finding had started with the development and implementation of a survey for staff of partner country universities (PCUs), a student survey as well as a literature review. Tools are expected to feed into a set of guidelines on how to develop/implement Social Dimension strategies for higher education in BiH and Armenia in line with the Bologna Process.

The INCLUSION project is coordinated by the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts (YSAFA) and aims to enhance the capacity of stakeholders on the field of higher education in Armenia and BiH in contributing to the implementation of social dimension (SD) strategies through capitalizing on knowledge transfer and cross-regional cooperation. Principle outputs and outcomes of the project include national level guidelines on development and operationalization of SD strategies; institutional level master plans and mechanisms to implement SD strategies; capacity building of HEIs and respective government authorities for the operationalization of SD strategies; development of resources for inclusive teaching and learning as well as capacity building materials to raise awareness of high school pupils & teachers on equal access to higher education.

We are looking very much forward to our collaboration on this project with all our partners!
