Moreover, Professor Dr. Muje Rugova, Rector of the UP, and Professor Dame Joan K Stringer, Principal of Edinburgh Napier University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to elaborate on potential future joint projects.

The project KIKT started in January 2010 and aims to improve the conditions for the development of professional research capacities at the Faculties of Medicine, Mathematical and Natural Sciences and Agriculture as well as to implement an interdisciplinary PhD study program. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Mark Darlison, Head of the School of Life, Sport and Social Sciences, for hosting this study visit and for his invaluable help in bringing together all relevant stakeholders from Edinburgh Napier University. Mark Darlison and his colleagues made this study visit a very fruitful stay and provided the delegation from Kosovo with new ideas and perspectives.
