First Training within the „eLearning – eContent Program“ „Train the eContent Developers“

On Thursday, 27th April 2006,  after CDP+ contracting  (see below), the first Training within the „eLearning – eContent Program“ called „Train the eContent Developers“ was held at ACCESS Center in Sarajevo. Repesentatives of all BH universities participated in the training. The first part of the training was opened to the CDP+ coordinators and to all those interested in the training.

The Training lasted two days and delt with the following topics:

  • Pedagogy, Andragogy and Didactics in eLearning – An Overview: Considerations of these Aspects in eLearning, Differences between Classic Teaching and Learning and Online Teaching and Learning
  • Basics of ADDIE Model I, II;  Basics of  SCORM Standard – History, Comparison with other Standards; Basics of IMS and IMS QTI; LMS; Authoring Tools I, II.

eContent is aimed at training university staff to develop and apply digital educational content by transforming traditional courses or their counterparts into educational content on the web (or some other digital supplement) as an additional educational tool. Two representatives from each BH university are participating in the Trainings. They are supposed to apply and multiply the knowlegde gained at the Trainings at their home universities.

The eContent Program consists of three Trainings and a final Seminar and will be implemented in two phases – during the first phase the university representatives will be trained to develop eContent and during the second phase they will actually develop some eCourses. The second Training will take place on the 11th and 12th May in Banja Luka.

The presentations / lectures are held by BH and foreign experts. At the first Training WUS Austria engaged the following experts:

  • Dragan Matić, BH Expert
