Podgorica. On December 3rd, 2008 a DAAD delegation visited WUS Podgorica office.

The delegation consisted of Ms Nina Salden (Head of Section 324 South-East Europe) and professors from German universities: Professor Horst Brezinski – Director of the MBA Programme “International Business in Developing and Emerging Markets”; Professor Hans-Joachim Bungartz, University of Munchen – Department of Informatics, Chair of Scientific Computing and Professor Gerhard Koller, University of Erlangen, Department of German Language.

The visit of the DAAD delegation was aimed at obtaining information on current trends in Montenegrin higher education, research and science and finding out to what extent are DAAD programmes (stipends, funding cooperation between German and Montenegrin universities) tailor-made to the local situation in order to further intensify the cooperation. In addition, both WUS and DAAD presented their organisations and activities, tried to identify obstacles in their work and how to overcome them, with a special emphasis on student mobility.
