WUS Austria takes part in the new Erasmus+ project PROSPER - PROmoting Social entrePreneurship in higher Education for a prospeRous society. PROSPER comes in response to the need for infusing Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship into Higher Education.
The project aspires to build upon the proven capacity of social entrepreneurship to enhance community engagement and to bring positive impact in the “third mission” of HEIs and create direct connections between HEIs, students, social entrepreneurs and society.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project applicant organized the kick-off meeting online via zoom on December 17, 2020. All partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, and Poland took part in the meeting. In short presentations each partner presented its own institution to get to know each other. Afterwards, the content of the project, its goals, tasks, activities, and results were presented in detail. Partners discussed the tasks and verified the deadlines for the development of project documents, the development of intellectual outputs, and the upcoming project meetings.
