In the framework of the project ORIENT – Young explorers re-discover local communities through orienteering, the second newsletter has been published.
Orienteering is more than just a sport and has proven to be an extremely valuable tool for promoting social inclusion. For this reason, the project exploits the potential of orienteering to attract young people from different backgrounds by creating opportunities to establish contacts and to build social ties while at the same time new skills such as decision-making, leadership, teamwork and self-confidence are developed.
