ORIENT Project Meeting in Bulgaria
Partners from Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, and Italy met in Sofia, Bulgaria, from October 11-12, 2022, to assess and discuss recent achievements and future activities of the ORIENT project.
The Erasmus+ Sport project aims at improving social inclusion by bringing together disadvantaged young people to discover their local urban and natural communities through orienteering with the support of sport trainers, sport associations and workers from civil society organizations. During the meeting, the partners presented their impressions of the recently conducted orienteering pilot and emphasized the need to summarize the project results in a manifesto with recommendations for policy makers to strengthen the civil society.
