HERAS+ project visit in Prishtina
In the framework of the project HERAS + - Higher Education, Research and Applied Science in Kosovo + a project visit took place in Prishtina from April 19-22. During this week, Austrian experiences on performance-based funding were presented to universities and the Ministry of Education, Technology and Innovation (MESTI). In a workshop for grantees of the HERAS+ Social Dimension Small Grant Scheme, projects that promote inclusion and equality in higher education were presented by students, NGOs and universities. In addition to different stakeholder and expert meetings, also the project’s Steering Board Meeting and a Selection Board Meeting for fellowship grants took place.
The project HERAS+ - aims at a more competitive and diversified public higher education and research sector in Kosovo in line with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), European Research Area (ERA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 and 9 related to quality assurance, economy and labour market relevance, international cooperation and the Social Dimension of Higher Education.
