Launching event of Baseline Assessment Report for the Universiteti "Isa Boletini" in Mitrovicë
The launching event of the Baseline Assessment Report for the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM) took place on Friday, April 30, 2021 within the framework of the Project HERAS Plus.
Similar assessments are currently being conducted with all the seven public Universities in Kosovo. The local office of the Austrian Development Cooperation in Prishtina congratulated the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica for the great steps taken in assessing the overall developmental situation of the University along with identifying the areas for improvement.
The launched Report speaks about issues related to actions plans, sound regulations (harmonized) that support the university strategic development, involvement of all stakeholders (internal & external) in the process of development, revision of strategic documents, achievement of standards of accreditation in line with ESG’s 3rd mission. Through the baselines, HERAS Plus supports the higher education and research system in Kosovo in order that it is better governed, more international, coherent, effective and efficient, fostering students’ employability and the third mission of universities.
The event concluded with the ceremonial signing of the MoU between HERAS Plus Project and the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, thus setting the frame for a well-structured cooperation.
