The project HERAS Plus and University of Gjakova sign Memorandum of Understanding
On December 24, 2020, the project HERAS Plus and the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani” (UGjFA) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), thus formalizing the ongoing cooperation between the project and the University.
With the MoU, HERAS Plus and the University of Gjakova commit working together in the areas of strategic development of the university (and not only). The MoU foresees a development of the ‘baseline assessment’ which will be implemented with the financial support of HERAS Plus. In the framework of the cooperation, the University will also benefit support in the process of institutional accreditation and the overall institutional development, including initiatives to advance the third mission of university (namely, contributing to economic, social, and cultural development). It is important to mention that through the cooperation, both sides, will look at the university development from different angles at the same time: the holistic approach to organization performance analysis.
Noteworthy, through the interventions of this type, the project HERAS Plus focuses on capacity development for universities to plan and implement their activities more strategically and thereby contributing to a more diverse higher education landscape with specific areas of expertise for each public university in Kosova.
