Sport Against Violence and Exclusion (SAVE)

From the beginning of 2018 till end of 2020 WUS Austria has been one of the partners in the Sport Against Violence and Exclusion (SAVE) project. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union, and it seeks to prevent violent and socially exclusive behaviours through physical activity.

The project developed a training package for education of sport trainers and students, which is designed for both online and face-to-face teaching. The five modules, consist of a certain set of competencies which can be adopted through sport and each of them is designed in a way to induce certain positive social behaviour, i.e. transferring sport competencies into life competencies.
