SEEVAL Kick-off meeting in Sofia

Sofia/Bulgaria. The project coordinator Trakia University organized together with the Center for Creative Training Association the Kick-off meeting of the project „SEEVAL – Social and Emotional Education - Building Inclusive Schools and Ownership of Values” in Sofia from January 27-29, 2020.

The project endeavors to build an in-service training program, aimed to develop educators’ skills for systemic and dedicated Social and Emotional Education (SEE). The project partners will work to collect, edit and publish Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) activities, focused on developing Social and Emotional Competences (SEC) of the learners. SEEVAL is focused on supporting teachers at middle and high-school level where such assistance is much needed but insufficient.

The main objectives are to promote inclusive education and training, and to foster the education of disadvantaged learners, including through supporting educational staff in addressing diversity and reinforcing diversity among educational staff

The kick-off meeting was very useful since representatives of all project partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Malta, and Romania discussed the activities of the first project year, and the financial and project management in detail in order to find a common understanding of the expected outcomes.

WUS Austria is work package leader of the Internal Quality Management and supports and gives feedback in all other work packages.
