DUALSCI Kick-off meeting
Sarajevo. More than 40 professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Germany, Serbia and Spain met in Sarajevo from February 12-13, 2020 to kick-start the new, joint Erasmus+ Project - “Strengthening capacities for the implementation of dual education in BH higher education/DUALSCI”. The meeting was hosted by the University of East Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina and gathered representatives from the sixteen members of the project Consortium.
The DUALSCI project is coordinated by the University of Novi Sad and aims to improve the competencies of higher education graduates and their employability in cantons and entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This will be done through the development of a generic model of dual education (DUALSCI model) and suggestions for a legal framework that allows for an introduction of dual education, supporting different needs and interests of students, companies and higher education institutions (HEIs) in different cantons/entities of BH. The project will also provide recommendations to HEIs for the implementation of dual education. The DUALSCI model will be implemented, as a pilot test, at four universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina: University of East Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo, University of Mostar, and University of Zenica.
The kick-off meeting provided an important platform for the partners to address key issues related to project implementation and administration.
We look very much forward to our collaboration on this project with all our partners!
