Free Training on Participative Theatre Methods in Global Learning, Graz, March 9-10, 2020
The training will be based on the Training Package (https://www.developtogether.eu/de/training-package-demo-de) which has been developed by the consortium as part of the InterCap project (more information about the project on www.developtogether.eu). Participants of this training will be familiarised with the modules 1 (Migration, Security and Sustainable Development in an Interdependent World), 5 and 6 (Train-the-Trainer Pedagogies).
The focus of this international training will be on module 5 “Participatory Theatre Methods for Global Learning with reference to Theatre for Living”. Drawing on the methodology “Theatre for Living”, in this training you will be introduced to a participatory educational methodology for the development of spaces for critical thinking and discussion regarding global issues. You will learn how to engage critically through dialogue with your own and different points of view, reflect individually and collectively for taking informed decisions. More specifically, you will gain practical knowledge on how to create spaces where you discuss and actively participate in a continuous process of (de)constructing meanings, while depicting ways of relating to one another in global learning.
Who can participate?
Participants of the training are preferably trainers or adult educators (working at universities, adult training institutions, public authorities, NGOs) who deal with the topics of migration, sustainable development, SDGs and global learning.

Dates and venue
The training in Graz will have a total duration of 2 days and will take place at the JUFA Hotel Graz City, Idlhofgasse 74, 8020 Graz from March 9 - 10, 2020.
Participation at the training is free of charge!
During the training, WUS Austria will offer snacks and beverages to the participants.
The training will take place in German language and is limited to participants from Austria only.
