Opening of ADA Coordination Office for Montenegro
Podgorica. On December 14,
2007 at 11:30 the Austrian Development Agency - ADA officially opened
the Coordination Office for Montenegro in Ulcinjska 1 street,
Podgorica.
Mr. Gerhard Schaumberger who will be in charge of the Austrian Development Cooperation
in Montenegro has organised the opening event which was co-hosted by
Mr. Michael Schieder from the Operational Unit of the Austrian
Development Cooperation, his Excellency Mr. Florian Raunig, the
Austrian Ambassador in Montenegro, and many other local
representatives.
WUS Austria as a constant implementation partner
of ADA projects was highly recognised for joint efforts in supporting
Montenegrin higher education since 1998, along with other equally
important agencies operating in various fields that ADA is supporting.
The opening of the coordination office is an important step forward for Montenegro not only for the ongoing support to higher education but also on its road to Europe.
