SAVE THE DATE – Global Conference on the Human Right to Quality Education
We are pleased to announce that in honour of its centennial, the World University Service (WUS) is hosting a global conference on the right to quality education in Vienna, Austria from May 14-16, 2020.
While connecting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 - the right to quality education - with global challenges of migration, the conference focuses on challenges which countries, economies and governments, learners, educators and educational institutions are facing. The conference will focus on key areas such as human rights, innovation, impact and digitalisation because we believe that if these are applied well, they are key drivers in making educational services work for all.
To this end, the event brings together experts and participants from different sectors and groups: educators and education designers, policy makers, persons from businesses, migrants, students and many more. We listen to what motivates and what worries the various stakeholders, respect the different perspectives, by listening to questions and bringing actors together in trans-forming education in order to better equip persons to use their skills at the workplace and in society as general.
