CYCLES - Final conference and consortium meeting in Vienna
Vienna/Austria.
The project coordinator FH Joanneum organized the final conference and
consortium meeting of „CYCLES – Child and Youth Caretakers Financial Literacy
and Entrepreneurship Skills” in Vienna from September 19-20, 2019.
On
the first day the CYCLES conference brought together social workers,
representatives of
child and youth care organizations as well as local, regional and national
political and educational authorities
to present continuing education
opportunities in the areas of financial education and entrepreneurship, and to
discuss and sustain the importance of passing on knowledge to young people,
especially Young Care Leavers. The participants
addressed the
importance of increasing the economic knowledge of caretakers to act as
multipliers for young care leavers to prepare them economically better to their
individual lives.
On
the second day the consortium discussed the project outputs, in particular the
implemented trainings and the Transferability and Evaluation Handbook, as well
as open tasks until the end of the project period on September 30, 2019. Another
big topic of this final meeting was the sustainability of the project. WUS
