DESTIN: International conference on journalism education for democracy in the Ukraine.
Project partners from the United Kingdom, Austria, Poland and the Ukraine met in Kyiv from the 13th to 17th May 2019 to discuss the recent developments in establishing a new study program in journalism at 10 different Ukrainian Universities and how to align existing programs with the European Qualification Framework, the Bologna system. Under coordination of the Bath Spa University and with support of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science, local partners presented the review of the existing curricula and outlined together with the European partners the possibilities of changing and further develop their programes within the European framework.
