“Training for Administrators” organized within eCUP TEMPUS Project
From November 12 to 14, the Training for Administrators was organized at the Faculty of Computer and Electrical Engineering through the TEMPUS Project eContent at the University of Prishtina (eCUP).
The Opening Speech was held by Suzana Manxhuka-Kerliu, Vice Rector for International Affairs, followed by short addresses by Myzafere Limani, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Electrical Engineering, Lindita Tahiri, TEMPUS Coordinator for Kosovo, Laura Fantini, Representative of the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, and But Dedaj.
The main aim of the training is to provide the administrators with required skills for the installation and maintenance of a hardware and software platform that will enable eLearning. The training was conducted by Mr. Carlo Maria Medaglia from the “La Sapienza” University in Rome, Italy. Topics covered in the training included: Moodle, ELGG, Wiki, Maratech etc.
12 participants from different faculties of the UP took part in the training.
Contracts Signed with Selected Applicants
On November 13, the 7 winners of the eCUP project signed the contracts at the WUS Austria office in Prishtina under the presence of representatives of the project partner, the “La Sapienza” University in Rome. Out of 13 applications, the selection panel headed by the Vice Rector for Academic Issues, Mr. Luan Ahma, 7 were selected for support as foreseen in the project proposal.
The selected applicants acknowledged WUS Austria’s continuous support for the UP in its reform process towards the Bologna goals.
