AtLETyC Final Conference in Turin
On the 19th
of April 2018 the final conference took place in Turin – Italy. After the
successful implementation of the pilot training last autumn, the new dual
career approach for former elite athletes, designed by partners from all over
Europe, was discussed those days by lecturers, professors and course designers
together with the former Austrian ski jumper Florian Schabereiter, invited by
the KADA association, also involved in the AtLETyC project. Participants of the meeting contributed from
their point of view and shared new ideas for a dual career. Core part of the
recently developed training was a 6-week lasting MOOC (Massive Open Online
Course), which supported flexible learning for busy athletes. Next to the MOOC
athletes had to absolve also a face to face training. During the final
conference the project partner agreed, that the blended learning concept was
one of the success factors and will remain essential for future trainings
within the AtLETyC label. For further
