PICASA: Final Event in Yerevan
From April 18 – 22, 2017 the final event in the frame of the Tempus Project PICASA took place in Yerevan. PICASA aimed at promoting the recognition of the Higher Education (HE) systems of Armenia, Georgia, Belarus and Ukraine through enhancing internationalization dimensions on the structural and cultural level of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) management. This encompassed the integration of international dimensions into the teaching, learning and research functions of universities through developing and implementing respective policies and procedures, through the internationalization of curricula and the promotion of an ethos and culture that values and supports intercultural and international perspectives. WUS Austria was in charge of the first work package, which provided the basis for the enhanced culture of internationalization by supporting the International Relations Offices (IROs) of the participating Higher Education Institutions in the revision of their roles and functions.
