Consortium meeting within the Tempus project ONEHEALTH
Sarajevo. The consortium meeting of the TEMPUS project "ONEHEALTH: Public health in the Western Balkans - improvement in the field of public health and development of a 'one health' educational and scientific architecture in Western Balkan countries" took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina 11. – 12. 09.2014.
The meeting was held at the Veterinary faculty in Sarajevo with partner institutions from Spain, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria. After the opening words about the project a presentation was held on the research results on the topic awareness on issues related to public health in the working place/academic disciplines. This was seen as a pre-condition (basic statistical input) for the further implementation of project. Other main topics of the meeting were the promotion of onehealth concept (improving capacities in the sphere of public health) and the discussion of onehealth Master programme that should be held at Universities in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina
