Tempus project KIKT - final conference took place in Prishtina
Prishtina. The final conference of the “Kosovo Interdisciplinary Knowledge Triangle Center - PhD based Education, Research and Training for Medical and Natural Sciences” was held at the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina. The conference was attended by professors and students of the University of Prishtina as well as the representatives of WUS Austria, and representatives of the European partner universities from Ghent, Edinburgh and Vienna, which at the moment host 15 students of the PhD programme of the Faculty of Medicine as part of their research. Besides the development of an interdisciplinary programme at the Faculty of Medicine two modules for Life Long Learning were implemented in cooperation with the Austrian partners in the frame of which doctors from Kosovo were certified for attending trainings. The project also established the chirurgic, patho-physiology and the respiratory physiology laboratories.
