QUADRIGA_project meeting in Khorog, Tajikistan
Khorog. Khorog State University in Tajikistan invited participants of the Tempus projects QUADRIGA and MEDIATE to Khorog, capital of the autonomous province Kuhistoni Badakhshon, "Mountainous Badakhshan" (GBAO) . The visit took place from 30th September to 3rd October 2013.
Within the frame of the visit the following working sessions took place:
- country reports from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on the establishment of National Qualifications Frameworks
- experience of EU universities and countries in establihsing and working with National Qualifications Frameworks
- workshop "Learning Outcomes - from theory to practice" (WUS Austria)
- consortium meeting including an outlook for the last year of project implementation
The agenda also allowed time to familiarize with the educational environment and traditions in the province, and included time to talk about further potential cooperation opportunities. The official programme was embedded in cultural events and included a welcome dinner, in which the Rector thanked the participants of the meeting for undertaking the long travel to visit Khorog, which can be reached by car from Dushanbe in a one-day trip through the Pamir mountains.
