Children’s University in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Faculty Introductory Seminar
Mostar. On September 6, 2013, an introductory seminar for faculty members of University of Mostar took place during phase II of the Children's University- education is for everybody! project. Onsite at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, faculty members involved in the implementation of the project were provided training by Dr. Silvia Prock from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Mr. Dino Mujkic, WUS Austria Sarajevo Office Regional Manager, and Ms. Nives Simanovic from the “Petra Bakule” grade school Mostar, opened the seminar by welcoming everyone and introducing the guest speaker and agenda. During the seminar an open discussion took place with an aim to conclude all the details which the implementation of the project entails from September 23rd-26th.
At the end of the day, participants expressed their satisfaction with participation in the seminar and the accomplished results, expressing hope that the Children’s University will become a part of the educational system in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future, following the standards of education in Europe.
