Study Visit of UP Professors at Technical University Munich within PhD@UP - July 12-13 2012
Within the project “PhD in Food & Technology & Creating Capacities for PhD Reform at the University of Pristina/Kosovo” (PhD@UP) the last study visit has been organized in Germany.
On the 12th and 13th of July six lecturers from the University of Prishtina visited their colleagues at the Technical University Munich (TUM) for the purpose of getting familiar with their institution and laboratories, discussing current and potential research projects as well as the modules and seminars which they will be jointly implementing at the University of Prishtina within the PhD programme in Food Science and Technology.
Within this study visit lecturers from the University of Prishtina met with their peers and they discussed the content and the methodology of their joint courses making final adjustments and improvements. The participants were very satisfied with the meeting and with the inputs that they received from it.
During their stay at TUM the visitors had the opportunity to also experience Bavarian atmosphere during dinner at Bräustüberl Weihenstephan (see photo), which was organized by the host.
The upcoming trainings which will be held in Prishtina will focus on the specific methods and the use of the recently acquired equipment.
