13 Course Proposals selected by International Jury for Project “PATTERNS Lectures”
The project “PATTERNS Lectures”, initiated by the ERSTE Foundation and implemented by WUS Austria, aims at the development of new university courses in the fields of art history, cultural studies and cultural sciences.
The second international call for the submission of course proposals, aimed at the target region of the ERSTE Foundation’s PATTERNS Program, was announced on January 30, 2012, encouraging lecturers from universities from South-Eastern, Eastern and Central Europe to submit their course proposals. After the call closed on March 19, we were delighted to count 58 high quality applications from 17 countries.
The PATTERNS Lectures Advisors met in Vienna on April 24/25 and selected 13 outstanding courses that will be supported within the scope of the PATTERNS Lectures project and will be implemented at the respective universities in the academic year 2012/2013.
