QA@PHEP: Workshop organized in Prishtina
Prishtina. Within the TEMPUS Project: “Supporting and Developing the Structures for the Quality Assurance at the Private Higher Education Providers in Kosovo”, financed by the European Commission, a workshop was organized for QA officers of the ten Kosovar private higher education providers, on July 5th – 6th.
The first day consisted of two sessions:
· Attendance of the training organized by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (morning session)
· Presentations of Prof. Dr. Norma Ryan, University College Cork (afternoon session):
“Embedding of a quality culture within a HE Institution”
“Role of teachers in QA – all aspects and the need for engagement with QA and other accountability measures and on the need for support of teachers”
The second day comprised of the workshops on:
· Final discussion of the Evaluation Guideline drafted
· Content of the quality assurance manual
The working groups were chaired by: Prof. Dr. Peter Eckl, Prof. Dr. Norma Ryan, Mr. Sc. But Dedaj and Mr. Sc. Mjellma Carabregu. The results of the working groups will be used on drafting/finalizing both of the aforementioned documents.
