DeLLCO Study Visit at the Danmarks Paedagogiske Universitetsskole, Copenhagen
Copenhagen. Study visit within the project “Development of the Lifelong Learning Concept at the University of Montenegro” (DeLLCO), took place from 4th to 8th April 2011 in Copenhagen. The participants had the opportunity to visit Danmarks Paedagogiske Universitetsskole (DPU), the National Research Centre of Competence Development (NCK), Danish Adult Education Association and the Centre for the Development of Human Resources and Quality Management and learn about the Lifelong Learning as a transnational policy concept, the model of a master programme devoted to adult education, mechanisms for the recognition of prior learning - informal and non-formal learning in Denmark and procedures for the development and accreditation of education programmes. Finally, the workshop on the National Implementation of Lifelong Learning took place on the last day of the study visit.

The aim of the project “Development of the Lifelong Learning Concept at the University of Montenegro” is to improve learning opportunities in Montenegrin society at large and achieve higher employability through the development of LLL university strategy, enabling wider access to higher education, incorporating non-formal and informal education into the overarching national qualification framework and enhancing partnerships with relevant social partners. The two-year project is coordinated by the University of Montenegro in partnership with KU Leuven, University of Aarhus, University of Alicante, WUS Austria, and the local partners: Ministry of Education and Science, Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Centre for Vocational Education and Employment Agency of Montenegro
