The event breaking the traditional law of staff recruitment
The Kosova Case Challenge – a subcompetition of the Balkan Case
Challenge (BCC) – held from March 2nd to 4th, 2007 for the third time
in Prishtina, brought new breath in the higher education of Kosova by
serving as link between higher education and economy.
72 students
of public and private universities studying economy, law, political
science, technical science and other related disciplines raised the
interest of around 15 local companies, public institutions and
international organizations to attend the event.
The interest of the companies to attend the event proved that they are
highly interested in creative and intelligent young professionals and
that these companies even break the traditional rule of staff
recruitment. For years, in Kosova and the region, staff recruitment has
been cultivated on family basis. Therefore, the Kosova Case Challenge
helps a lot towards bringing the new breath of staff recruitment.
After the Kosova Case Challenge 2007, 15 participants will attend
internships with the possibility to be employed. Also 13 participants
will be trained and 39 will be awarded with books. The possibility for
additional recruitment is very high.
16 winners of the Kosova Case Challenge will attend the international
final Balkan Case Challenge from May 20 – 25 to compete with their
colleagues from the region and Austria.
