R&D Capacities: Project Meeting in Montenegro
Kotor/Prcanj. The R&D Service Center of the University of Montenegro has organized the second meeting and workshop within the project, which took place at the seaside at the Bay of Kotor from September14th-16th 2010, followed by a public event on September, 17th.
About 30 people from the consortium, mainly representing higher education institutions, took part in the workshop which was focused on business plan development for the R&D Service Centers as well as further developing their services and instruments. Additionally, guests from three Croatian universities were invited and present to exchange experiences with another relevant Tempus IV project called “OPUS".
Podgorica. The last session of the project meeting was held at the rectorate of the University of Montenegro and was designed as a public event under participation of the local media. The plenary session started with warm welcome words by the rector of the university, Predrag Miranovic, and introductory words by the Austrian ambassador, Martin Pammer and Sasa Ivanovic, advisor in the Ministry of Education and Science, Department for Science. The main part concluded with the presentation of the R&D Service Center of the University of Montenegro by vice-rector Mira Vukcevic. The session was closed with a short presentation of the EURAXESS center of the university which had been established only recently.
