BCC Workshop - Bitola
The workshop “Linking Higher Education and Economy. Various Forms of Cooperation between Universities and Business: Best Practices, Experiences and Cases from Macedonia and Austria” was organized at the biggest University in South Western Macedonia – St. Kliment Ohridski University in particular at the Faculty of administration and management of information systems – Bitola on 28 May 2010.Over 20 Teaching and Research Assistants and Professors attended the workshop.
The participants were welcomed by prof. dr. Violeta Manevska, Dean of FAMIS – Bitola and Dr. Miso Dokmanovic, coordinator of WUS-Austria in Macedonia.The workshop included lectures by Mimoza Jovanovska – Bogdanovska, Teaching Assistant at FAMIS and Reinhard Millner, Lecturer at the Institute for Non-profit Management, WU Vienna University for Business and Economics. Besides that, a presentation by Mr. Georg Woschnagg (Product Marketing Manager, VIP operator) on the practical side of establishment of linkage between higher education and business was a part of the workshop program.
Theworkshop was organized by WUS – Austriain cooperation with the local partner, Institute for Strategic Research andEducation – ISIE.
