16 Course Proposal selected by International Jury for Project “PATTERNS Lectures”
The project “PATTERNS Lectures”, financed by the ERSTE Foundation and implemented by WUS Austria, aims at the development of new university courses in the fields of art history, cultural studies and cultural sciences.
An international call for the submission of course proposals, aimed at the target region of the ERSTE Foundation’s PATTERNS Program, was announced on January 7, encouraging lecturers from universities from South-Eastern, Eastern and Central Europe to submit their course proposals. After the call closed on March 7, we were delighted to count 61 high quality applications from 19 different countries.
The Academic Advisory Panel consisting of international experts met in Vienna on April 8 and selected 16 outstanding courses that will be supported in scope of the PATTERNS Lectures project and will be implemented at the respective universities in the academic year 2010/2011.
