MSDP Contract Signing Ceremony for Master programs
Prishtina. At the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Prishina the official contract were signed for the commencement of two new Master study programs in the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishitna – master in:
· International Law and
· Civil and Property Law.
This agreement foresees to develop new master programs according to the labor market requirements which provide an opportunity for UP to develop their programs in twinning cooperation with partner universities in Austria. Considering this, the Master Programs in International Law and in Civil and Property Law will be developed through the twining cooperation with University of Graz. Thus, through twinning component with Austrian Higher Education Institutions the University of Prishtina, in this case Faculty of Law, is having the opportunity to exchange experiences and build up the existing knowledge to meet in best way the labor market requirements.
The contract signing ceremony was addressed by: Prof. Dr. Mujë Rugova, Rector of the UP, Mr. Hubert Baidinger, Consul of the Austrian Embassy in Kosovo and Mr. But Dedaj, Regional Manager of WUS Austria, Prishtina Office. Three of them in their speeches agreed that: the Implementation of these two programs will contribute to the reformation process through which the University of Pristina is passing, with the aim of meeting the goals arising from the Bologna Agreement.
The establishment of these two new Master programs in UP is made possible through Master Development Program (MSDP), which is implemented by WUS Austria Office in Prishtina, and financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
