Meeting with the new appointed Deans of Faculties of the UP
Prishtina, October 26, 2009. A meeting between: Prof. Dr. Bajram Berisha, Vice Rector for Teaching & Scientific Research, Deans and Vice-deans of the University of the Prishtina and But Dedaj, Regional Manager of WUS Austria, Prishtina Office, was held at the Rectorate of the UP. The purpose of these meeting was to inform the newly appointed managerial staff – Deans and Vice-deans – of 17 academic units of UP about the programs that WUS Austria is implementing – MSDP, BGP+ and CDP+ and BCC.
Vice-rector Berisha, after the welcoming speech, emphasized the role that WUS played during the years in the Kosova HE and the benefits of UP in this close cooperation. Meanwhile, Mr. Dedaj, after informed the participants about the programs that WUS currently is implementing, highlighted the role that the Austrian State, through WUS-Austria, has played to date in reforming and modernizing the UP through its programs and opportunities that this organization offers to UP with the aim of integrate the it into the European Higher Education Area.
