Orientation training organized for the selected interns of the “Business and Economics Internship Program"
On June 30th the Orientation Training was organized for the ten selected interns, at WUS Austria Prishtina Office premises
Organization of the Orientation Training for the selected interns was done on June 30th at WUS Austria premises. The main aim of this training was to provide the ten selected students with the basic information regarding their obligations, internship duration, about their internship positions and some other specific issues.
After the training took place students were assisted for determining the learning objectives in accordance to the scope of works as submitted from the institutions and organizations offering internships. And in the end they signed the learning objectives and the agreement.
Ten selected students are placed for doing internship at the following institutions:
· Ministry of Economy and Finance (5 internship positions)
· Ministry of Trade and Industry (1 internship position)
· Kosovo Customs (2 internship positions)
· Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (1 internship position)
· USAID Kosovo Private Enterprise Program (1 internship position)
During the application period there were 93 applications received. The selection panel was organized immediately after the application deadline (June 17th). Selection panel created the list of 24 pre-selected candidates. Afterwards the list was forwarded to the institutions and organizations offering internships, for choosing the candidates for the interview. Bu July 1st all the candidates started the internship.
