CALL FOR PROPOSALS OF SPECIFIC QA MEASURES IS OPEN!
It is our great pleasure to inform all interested public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) that WUS Austria has launched an open call for project proposals. BiH universities are invited to propose specific measures aimed at further development of quality assurance (QA) structures and policies. This action will be implemented within WUS Austria's project „Strategic and Structural Development of Quality Assurance in Bosnian and Herzegovinian Higher Education 2008-2010“, financed by Austrian Development Cooperation and Liechtenstein Government in the total amount of 445,000.00 EUR.
PROJECT BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION
In the last three years, WUS Austria has been actively supporting QA development at BiH universities through a number of projects. Today, the universities display heterogeneous levels of development, needs and priorities. Therefore, WUS Austria launched the project „Strategic and Structural Development of Quality Assurance in Bosnian and Herzegovinian Higher Education 2008-2010“, which aims at further development of QA in BiH higher education (HE) through the implementation of three components:
- Contribution to objectives and activities of TEMPUS project “From Quality Assurance to Strategy Development”
- Implementation of specific QA measures at BiH Universities
- Strengthening of the BiH Agency for Development of HE and QA
