II CDP+ CALL SELECTION PANEL
The Selection Panel for WUS Austria's project Course Development Program + (II Call) took place on June 23rd at the Student ACCESS center.
As a result of successful implementation of individual CDP+ projects in
2004/2005 and very professional seminars and trainings (ECTS Training,
September 21st-23rd 2004; QA Seminar January 25th-26th 2005), interest
for WUS Austria projects has greatly increased among BH academic
community. In the project year 2005/2007, interest for CDP+ more than
doubled. As a result, many valid, good applications had to be rejected
due to limited funds. For second CDP+ Call, only 30% of budget was
usable because priority had been given to I Call applications.
According to the Contract "Support to Higher Education in B&H for
2005/2007", CDP+ Selection Committee consists of all the General
secretaries from those BH Universities, which are the signatories of
the mentioned Contract, and from representatives of the Austrian
Development Agency, as well as from representatives of WUS Austria.
Final decisions were based on results of pre-selection procedures,
technical assessment, peer review and premonitorings.
At the meeting of the Selection Committee for 2nd Call applications, the following were present:
