Project description
The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the overall performance and impact of the project "Together Building Resilience" which was funded by the
UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and implemented by Kosovo Women for Women (Kosovo W4W) between 2021 and 2024.
The “Together Building Resilience” project aimed to improve access to information and services against violence against women and girls (VAW/G) and to enhance economic and networking opportunities for marginalized women at increased risk due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Implemented in the municipalities of Drenas, Lipjan, Shterpce, Skenderaj, Podujeve, and Ferizaj, the project targeted areas with the highest incidence of VAWG in Kosovo.
The evaluation aims to:
- Measure Effectiveness: Determine the extent to which the project achieved its intended goals, outcomes, and outputs.
- Assess Relevance: Evaluate the alignment of the project's objectives and results with the needs of the target group and local priorities.
- Evaluate Efficiency: Analyze the cost-effectiveness of the project's implementation, including the optimal use of resources.
- Determine Sustainability: Assess the likelihood of the project's benefits continuing beyond the funding period.
- Understand Impact: Examine the broader changes attributable to the project, including both intended and unintended effects.
- Generate Knowledge: Identify key lessons learned, promising practices, and areas for improvement to inform future initiatives in the field of VAWG.
- Promote Gender Equality and Human Rights: Evaluate the incorporation and impact of gender-responsive and human rights-based approaches within the project.
